Choose from BRITISH and/or CELTIC units for Weeks 12 and 13.

Week 12: Nursery Rhymes

Week 13: English Fairy Tales

Choose from EUROPEAN units for Weeks 14 and 15.

Week 14: Brothers Grimm - Librivox

Week 15: Italian Fairy Tales

Once I began exploring the readings, I realized that I interested in fairy tales and short stories. Learning about what stories children all over the world grew up hearing, is intriguing to me! Of the readings I picked, I am most excited about the Ramayana story. I am Hindu, but I never truly learned about Ramayana in depth. I just had a general idea/summary about him. After the provided reading, I might even read the further readings about him. For this reason, I can't wait for the Middle Eastern and Indian unit! Since I do not know much about the mythology and folklore, I don't know what else the UnTextbook is missing! Everything I saw in the textbook looked interesting. I even started reading the Arabian Nights Frametale Stories for fun!
